Prestige Legend Canadian Whisky essence. Makes Vodka Taste just like Crown Royal Whisky

Prestige UP Legend Canadian Whiskey. I used carbon filtered alcohol out of a 6 stage vodka still. The taste is spot on Crown, but without the bite. As you might expect I had to use more (twice as much) essence to get the taste right. Be careful, it goes down like water.

A very good Royal Crown replication. I tried this essence, with Uncle Jeese Sour Mash first batch. It is a very decent replication of royal crown, the taste that is. It has the same sharp bite on your tongue, almost same mouth taste, but not the smell. The bad thing is, I use UJSM so it has corny smell, this is where your skill as distiller is rated. You need to make precise cut or your spirit will not taste well (too early or much tail), so with this essences my spirit become a very unique rye whisky with corny smell. You also need to choose carefully which wash you make to be combined with the essence. I have distilled malted rice wash before, and I'm pretty sure it have the same characteristic with royal crown, the smell and the bite. Will try with sugar or malted rice wash later. Quite smooth... I give it 4 star

Converted a "Crown" drinker. Son in law was a tried and true Crown drinker. Wont touch it now unless he cant get my spirits. Twice distilled through a thumper and filtered thru a Doulton ceramic filter candle with carbon. Damn good stuff. Have used this essence with once distilled and unfiltered without a thumper and its still pretty good.

4.5 ... Best Whiskey flavor yet.. Best of the several I have tried.

Nice facsimile of Crown. Got a lot of compliments on this. Not identical to Crown Royal by any means but a very decent replication.

smooth. Many friends have tried this and most, if not all, have come back and wanted more. I take some with me to any happening I'm invited too. Glad it comes in bulk.
