North Sea Schnapps is a rich bitter with real licorice root flavour. Drink at room temperature with beer, coffee or tea. Mixed with equal parts vodka, it’s called a "Dong."

Instructions: Pour the contents of this bottle and 55g granulated sugar into a 750ml (US 25 fl. oz.) bottle. Fill 3/4 full with vodka and shake until the sugar has dissolved. Top up the bottle and shake until the contents have fully blended. Note: It is easiest to dissolve the sugar in your alcohol by placing both in a blender on high for 2-3 minutes.

    NASTY!!. Yes, it does have a strong salt licorice flavour Ц and a rather nasty aftertaste. The essence does not stay in solution (I used 50% ABV). I spent half an hour cleaning a 150 year old decanter to get the dark brown stains out. It was so bad I re-distilled the balance.
