Good product. Makes a good mash with nice ABV. The only problem is sometimes the packages get torn during shipping. Good consistent product though

High Spirits Turbo 48 Yeast. This works much better than Alcotek turbo yeast and costs less. The Alcotek did not ferment completely and I was left with a very sweet wash. This worked very well.

Using with 'Amazing Still'. I';m new to this, so learning day by day. Put Turbo 48 in sugar water as directed. Gurgles the airlock like mad within an hour. Five days later, distill in a "bucket-in-a-covered-bucket" with submersible heater, a la Amazing Still method. Filter through Brewhaus' charcoal pipe unit. At this point it tastes like a weak bourbon (!!!) Then I age it in 3-liter charred oak barrels for a few months, and man it comes out GREAT! This is great yeast for the price. Will be trying the Prestige Turbo Pure 48 (at a higher price) soon for comparison, but so far this High Spirits Turbo 48 has been beyond satisfactory for moonshine.

Great alternative to Prestige. After several runs of this, I can say it is very clean. Even more so than Prestige; however, I am only getting 14-16% vs Prestige's 18% after a long ferment (30+ days). So the loss of volume vs the difference in price is well worth the switch. But if you want quantity at each ferment, you need to make some decisions. I still believe this is a better value over the normal 48hr Turbo's. Buy with confidence. It is cleaner and worth the price even with a very small reduction in %.

Great for warmer climates. Good results per manufactures instruction. Clean, sanitize, distilled H2O, control temperature, degas and clarify...baby it and you will hit the high number. Makes clean, fine taste and smell low wine. Happy with result. Would recommend to friends.

Very very good product. I haven't used a Turbo in years. I just didn't like the smell they put off during the process, among other things. I do not know if it's the 'Urea Free' aspect of this Turbo. But the scent is actually quite pleasant. Not the overpowering pungent Oder I remember from a Turbo. If end product taste anything like the fermenting process smells? After filtering and a bit of age. It should be a very decent end product. If you haven't tried this Turbo? Please do. I do not see how anyone could be disappointed. And Happy Holidays People.

Good Product . Great product. It took less than an hour to start fermenting. This is as good or better then the 48 hour prestige. I am sold on this high spirits, especially for the cheap price. You cannot beat this deal. Going to order about 25 of these ASAP. This stuff is great!!!! Its nonstop bubbling. I sat a brick on my barrel to keep the top from blowing off.lol
