Huge improvement over economy kegs!. This is by far a huge improvement over economy kegs! Finish is top notch. I would have given it a higher rating if I could get the keg to seal for practical use. This keg had a pretty good seal from the factory. Initial filling with water showed only a steady leak (normal)from the rear. After 48 hours the leak had diminished to a few drops per minute. I have cycled the barrel with cold and hot water and the unit still drips (leaks) a drop or two every fifteen minutes from the rear lower plate. I have spent over a week trying to seal this and I have been unsuccessful. I will have to try another barrel and see if they all have a sealing problem. I just might have received a bad barrel - that sometimes happens. If you are looking for a decorative unit, this is absoutly the one to get. I have tried many barrels from all over and this is the best looking product so far. If only it would seal, it would have received 5-stars and I would have bought several more!
