Abimael D.Apr 3, 2016, 12:00 AMA thing of beauty!. This is a very beautiful barrel of outmost superior quality. The barrel was cured with luke warm RO water and, in just a matter of hours, all leaks had ceased. I then loaded it with 4.2 gallons of my doubly distilled "white dog" and thus far not a single drop of whiskey has been lost. Amazing! This barrel is currently out of stock, but as soon as Brewhaus re-stocks it I will buy another one. A bit more expensive yes, but IMHO worth every penny!

HowardMar 11, 2010, 12:00 AMQuality barrel. I have a few economy barrels and recently bought the 16 liter Premium barrel from Brewhaus. This is a real barrel, the economy barrels are really outclassed by this one. If you want a barrel for ageing , dispensing or display this is the way to go. You can get economy barrels a lot cheaper but you won't be satisfied with them if you intend to actually age anything in them.
