Turbo Pure 48 will ferment 6-8kg of sugar in a 25L wash in as little as 2 days. The Turbo Pure 48 is specially designed for a pure fermentation, and offers the lowest volatile production yeast available plus special anti-volatile producing agents, and a combination of nutrients and minerals for rapid fermentation. Turbo Pure 48 is very temperature tolerant, and can ferment in ambient temperatures up to 95 degrees, although it is best to maintain ambient temperatures of 85 degrees or lower.

Guidelines for Use:
- For a pure fermentation the air temp must be maximum 30°C (86°F) 6 kg (13 lbs) sucrose 20°C (68°F) Amb, 2 days and 30°C (86°F)Amb 1-2 days 7 kg (15 lbs) sucrose 20°C (68°F) Amb, 4 days and 30°C (86°F)Amb 2-3 days 8 kg (17 lbs) sucrose 20°C (68°F) Amb, / days and 30°C (86°F)Amb 4-5 days.
- NEVER make more than 25L in one batch with Turbo Pure 48 Turbo Yeast.
Directions:
1. Dissolve 6-8 kg (13 -17 lbs) sugar into 8 liter (2 US gallons) hot water. Make sure the sugar has completely dissolved before continuing.
2. Top up to 25 liter (6.5 US Gallon) with cold water.
3. Make sure the liquid temperature is below 40°C (104°F) then add the Turbo Yeast sachet. Continue to stir until no more yeast particles are visible.
4. Allow to ferment at 20-30°C (68-86°F) air temperature for 2-7 days.

The 48 Hour Turbo yeast is the Best Yeast i have ever used it is Highly tolerant of temperature’s and give’s an excellent return, If you follow the direction’s to the T, i prefer to run the the 5-7 Day fermentation for best result’s and it’s well worth the waite Remember the old saying goe’s serve no wine before it’s time, But really i have tried many other kind’s of Yeast and i’ll use no other for my Brew !!!!!!

Idiot Proof Yeast. Turbo Pure 48 is truly idiot proof! It ferments very clean with up to 20%+ abv!I’ll not use any oyher yeast, it’s well worth the price!

yeast. No mater what u do with this yeast the product will be what ur looking for. It is almost indestructible i recently ran out and only used 1/3 the recommended amount. and it still produced an 18% product. If u want high abv u are gonna have to wait a little longer than stated but not by much, highly recommended, its all i will use now.

This Stuff is CRAZY!!. Pitched the yeast in a 50 liter all grain mash (thats half the recommended dosage), and this stuff took off in 30 minutes. Its so rediculous how much perculation you get from this yeast compared to any other! I put my ear up to the airlock and could have sworn i was driving a dually.

Great product. This is by far the best yeast for basic sugar washes. Like a previous review stated – this is idiot proof. I have never had a packet get stuck. I wish I could say the same for the others yeasts here. This is a perfect starter yeast for the people new to the hobby. Directions are clear and simple. It says 18% but you can get 20% going slower. This is all I buy for a basic wash. Recommend highly!

wow. well no bs this is a TURBO YEAST i’ve used a couple and this one is just as good as any out there. comes in a very nice gold package and is much whiter and cleaner (pure white) than any store bought yeast (light and dark brown). the best i ever got with fast acting store yeast is a 2 quarts out of 4-5 gallons. you need distillers yeast period. and with this turbo 48 it starts bubbling like CRAZY!!! in less than 1 hour!!! you just aint cookin mash until you see and smell this stuff working. and if you put 20 lbs. sugar, 4-5 lbs. cornmeal/cracked corn, and 32 oz. molasses in 7 gals. DISTILLED WATER ONLY PPL (this is a small application so dont skip out now), you get 20% not %18. and dont forget a good charcoal water filter, run it through 4-5 times. i’ve been doin this for a while now and prefer quality over quantity and this stuff and recipe is both i assure you. good luck and get your ETHANOL LICENSE’S FIRST. its not hard and apparently well worth it.

Beyond expectations. I’m new to this. Started out making wine. Don’t like wine. Then I stumbled on this. Set the hydrometer to 20%. Added Turbo and man it boils. 10 days later I have a 40 proof dirty vodka. I can mix it up like a Mike’s Lemonade and it tastes great (powdered lemonade, Sprit, no water). My next step is the simple distill method and to add clarrifier to the process. Very impressed with yeast! And look forward to years of extremely cheap and tasty vodka. This yeast doesn’t taste like a yeasty bread, very little foam, starts easy and stay rolling. I figure I can get my Vodka down to 1 dollar a gallon. Basically 20 bucks a year will cover me!

wow. Completely new to brewing/distilling and after several batches I feel ready to rate some of the products. This is a never fail product for sugar washes! Good neutral comes through in large quantities and never failed to push 18-20 percent after fermentation! I like the whiskey yeast with AG for grain mashes for flavor though.

Love turbo 48. Just got done running a 55 gallon battle of mash I rerolled I put 20 pounds of sugar in it Monday 20 Tuesdays and 30 in it Wednesday it was don't by Friday at 20% avb and I only use 3 packs of turbo 48 I ran my still 3" brewhaus column and 40 gallon ss battle that's my still set up I got 1 gallon at 190 #2 was 188 #3 180 #4 170 #5 160 #6 was tailings got a gallon and half to throwback in my next batch the yeast is the best I have found don't waste your money on the other stuff turbo 48 is awesome I won't make mash with out it

yeast . I have been using this yeast for 8 years and it has never let me down. I use 4 sacks per fifty five gallon mash and i get 16 percent out of it .no nasty smell the hearts are 160 proof and are very smooth. I filter and age the hearts and poeple say its better that gentleman jack. So that is impressive.
