Instructions: Pour the contents of this bottle into a 750ml (US 25 fl. oz.) bottle. Fill 3/4 full with vodka. Shake bottle to mix, then fill up bottle with vodka & shake until contents are fully blended.

Good mixer/ Weak Straight up. This makes a better than well rum for mixed drinks however straight up or on the rocks it is a little light, still wonderful changes brought to plain vodka

Superior Rum Essence!. This is by far my favorite rum essence of all time. The flavor holds true no matter the alcohol content. There is a delightful butterscotch note followed by a smooth vanilla note to this two note liqueur. I personally enjoy this essence with a good premium cigar. All of my friends visit to divest me of my rum. Cannot go wrong with this essence, a sure hit without effort.

Adequate . This is not a essence I would drink neat. It is perfectly good with eggnog though. The initial flavour is a strong hit of vanilla followed by a butterscotch aftertaste Ц nice – but not a Woods Old Navy sort of rum. This is an adequate substitute bar rum for mixed drinks.

Butterscotch. Way too much butterscotch for my taste. Not bad tasting but tastes more like butterscotch schnapps than rum.

Good mixer. I really like the smell of this one right after it is mixed. After a few days when the flavors have a chance to "settle"so to speak it is IMHO pretty good. Almost tastes like vanilla coke when mixed with cola.

Yuck. I bought it used it and Yuck!

Different, but not bad. It has a bit of butterscotch and vanilla flavor, and is a bit flavored with a hint of smoke, but it's not bad if you like that sort of thing. I drink all straight, and when the flavor is acquired, I like it. It's not as good overall as some others, but give it a shot. If I hadn't had better, I'd like it just fine.

Jamaica Extra Dark. I really like this essence and the people who have tried it in a blind test found they liked it better than many of the $40 plus bottles from the store.
