Prestige Professional Vodka Yeast Blend with AG is a specially selected pure fermenting Vodka yeast strain with the addition of Amyloglucosidase and the essential minerals and nutrients missing from a grain mash in order to offer the best environment for the yeast. This results in the cleanest possible fermentation while improving the speed and temperature tolerance of the yeast.

Unlike other vodka yeasts, Prestige Professional Vodka Yeast Blend with AG was developed specifically to produce extra high-grade vodka from an all-grain mash, and is not simply a Turbo Yeast. It includes only the nutrients not brought into the mash by the grain, ensuring that there are no residual nutrients or minerals which lend off-flavors to the finished product. The result is a world-class vodka.
Guidelines for Use:
Due to the small nutrient / mineral mix included with this yeast, it can also be used for extra clean fermentation of mid-gravity sugar mashes to 14.5% in approximately 7 days.

Great !!!. Good stuff ! Have made 3 batches of basic vodka (sugar, water and yeast) all have fermented in 48 hours and 90% on Tralle scale (180 proof)

Great Product. I have used this for a little over 4 years now with excellent results every time. I use 5 lbs of sugar, a package of Prestige Vodka Yeast and a 5 gallon water bottle with an airlock. Fermentation starts within an hour or so, can distill in a week but I prefer to wait two or three weeks for everything to clear, plus it distills quicker after two weeks. I use a 1500W hotplate and about an hour and 15 minutes after the power is turned on I'm collecting fore-shots after a two week distill. The longer I wait for it to distill, the quicker the process goes… I'm getting 90 percent (180 proof) consistently to fill a 1.75L bottle and a 375ML. I could collect a little more, but it starts getting a funny taste. I dump 70ML of the fore-shots and 60-70ML of heads then collect the good stuff. I save heads and tails for later use to re-distill. I have used a couple of other yeast products from Brewhaus, but always have come back to the Prestige Vodka Yeast. It's a great product!
