Your grains, your way!
To ensure you receive your grains exactly how you want them, please specify your preferences in the notes section on the cart page before checkout. Choose from the following packaging options:
- Packaged all together unmilled
- Packaged all together milled
- Packaged separately unmilled
For milled orders, we use a spike mill with standard gap sizes of .05-.06 for traditional false bottom setups and .03-.04 for Brew in a Bag (BIAB). If you have specific gap setting requests, please include them in your notes.
Note: Orders without pre-checkout notations will be shipped packaged separately and unmilled.
40° L РBriess Malting РCaramel 40L is used in some Pale Ales and most Amber Ales. It can also be used in darker beers, as well, when you are looking for the benefit of Caramel malt and some color contribution, but not the caramel notes that the higher colored Caramel malts have.
