Our Distiller's Malt is a highly modified, high alpha amylase enzyme malt that is specifically geared to use in distillation. It is excellent for use in mashes with a higher adjunct content, and where higher original specific gravity is desired.

Great stuff. Used this in a corn whiskey run to convert starch to sugar…worked awesome. Hit my initial specific gravity right on the money.

Distiller’s Malt. This malted barley will quickly ( I mean in just a few minuets and I also do a coarse grind on the malt ) convert a stiff coarse cornmeal mash to a sweet liquid state. This done between 158 and 150 degrees.
